American artist Alice Drew's beautiful collage of hummingbird and butterfly illustrations decorate this delightful accessory. Originally referring to a particular type of women's hat invented in the 1920's, bell jars are also wonderful table presentation pieces. Ms. Drew finds her inspiration in the bold colors of damask and brocade fabrics, the architectural details from Georgian homes and Turkish mosques, and from the animals and flowers of nature. The result is work that can beautify the home and enrich the life of the owner.
