Rich with exquisite details, this ivory and gold pattern is one of our most distinguished collections. Designed by senior chief designer, Frank Graham Holmes in 1915, the bold bands of shimmering gold around the rim of each piece are intricately patterned with etched scrollwork. The Westchester collection represents an important milestone in the history of Lenox dinnerware, as patterns using the same etched-gold technique inspired the first privately commissioned dinnerware. First Lady Edith Wilson came upon Lenox dinnerware in a shop and loved it so much that she commissioned the Wilson service for the White House in 1918. Westchester is, and always has been, an elegant choice for upscale gatherings and special occasions. Each piece is crafted of durable ivory bone china that is both chip resistant and dishwasher-safe.
