How To Host A Game Day Party

Celebrate the big game with Luna! This little wonder holds six bowls and two plates inside its compact shape to make snacking easy for your guests. Our friends at Table + Dine put together this spread to help get you inspired for hosting your own Sunday night party. Here are a few tips on how to make your game day snacking a feast fit for champions…

Go The Extra Mile

Set up a snack table full of the big 3: tacos, nachos and beer. Keep everything feeling fun with themed decorations. Add tiny flags into your cupcakes and fold up paper printed with football plays to spread out easy-to-grab snacks like peanuts and popcorn. Place flatware in a mason jar for convenience. Complete the setup with a few side plates or platters from our modern white dinnerware options for those who want to just grab and huddle around the screen. Make sure you have plenty of napkins!

A True Touchdown

Has a build-your-own nacho bar ever looked this good? Luna is everything you need to serve your snacks in one. Whether its tacos or chili (or just ordering classic wings), Luna is a go-to for all your game-day grub. Luna’s larger bowls are great for serving your main; from chicken to beef to veggies. The smaller bowls are ideal for shredded cheese, sour cream, guac… basically any topping you can think of! Set out corn bread, sides and dessert on the coordinating plates from the set..

Hang Time

Whatever your choice of beer for hanging out, it will taste great in our Tuscany Classics glasses. Set out elegant beer goblets and Weizen glasses for optimal enjoyment. These glasses have a heavy base, ensuring no fumbles during any touchdown excitement. Make sure to put out ice buckets with plenty of ice to keep everything cold before game time. (No dumping ice on anyone later!)

An Extra Point

Some easy DIY ideas are creating referee water bottles complete with whistles. Get creative by making your own burlap bunting banner. Feel free to include your team of choice (if everyone at the party is in agreement!) and paint mason jars brown with football lace to put your flatware and straws in. Adding fun DIY elements to your spread will bring out everyone’s excitement, plus make great party favors.

The End Zone

Now it’s time to kick back, relax and enjoy the big game. You’ll feel like a champion when it’s all done and your guests arrive, kicking off the fun. May the best team win!
