Come share all of the excitement and anticipation as designer and blogger, Maddie Flanigan (@mmadalynne), celebrates her wedding with Lenox. This is the first of a series of blog posts profiling Maddie and her journey from registry to bridal shower to walking down the aisle for her wedding.
When Maddie got engaged in June 2019, she knew that Lenox was a natural fit for her registry. She picked a range of pieces that suit both her and her fiancé, Ryan’s, design taste. “My style is more vintage, while Ryan’s is more graphic,” says Maddie. “By deciding to mix and match, we can create a look that we both really love.”
When picking out pieces for the table, Maddie wanted to create a look that was both retro and modern. Her and Ryan both love mid-century modern design and shopping at flea markets. “We’re not afraid to throw an antique find next to something that is super-contemporary,” says Maddie.
Choosing Trianna dinnerware in taupe and Marchesa By Lenox gold flatware creates a look that is both modern and old-world glam. Trianna’s trend-forward color scheme, paired with bold geo-patterned accent plates, suits Ryan’s style. Adding in Trianna serving pieces in stark white makes the table feel open and light.

“These are pieces we want to use everyday, but are also exciting to bring out when we have people over,” says Maddie. For the couple’s busy life in the city, it’s important for them to be able to enjoy their new home together, while still hosting fun, relaxed gatherings for friends and family.
