perfect and practical

The plate is both pretty an sturdy. It has an under frame that allows you to lift the plate with out tilting it. This is good, as anyone who has had the eggs slide off a plate when they picked it up one handed knows.

Painted bug where egg goes?

I highlighted the image to get a closer look after seeing what looked like a bug underneath where a deviled egg would go. That is disgusting in my mind. I can hear the screams of my daughter after picking up her egg!
