So Pretty but Very Thin and Fragile
I purchased 12 of these glasses when they went on sale last month. They are very attractive and festive. They are, however, very thin and the glass is fragile where the holly leaf is etched. I have had three of these glasses break in the middle where the design has been etched. I tend to stir my soda with a spoon to flatten most of the fizz before I drink it. Each time the spoon lightly touches the design, I end up with a fracture there. I didn't notice it at first because you can't really see it. I did, however, get soda all over my lap as the drink seeped through the thin cracks and down the side of the glass.
I don't recommend these glasses at all. I have been very careful not to pour soda into these. They are nice for iced tea or something else. I simply don't trust the thinness of the glass where the decorations have been etched.
